We're rental operators too.

We started a small rental fleet back in 2014. Eight cars, a website our cousin built, and a folder full of spreadsheets that passed for a booking system. For the first few years it almost worked.

When we tried to grow past 15 vehicles, the cracks showed. The big international platforms skimmed a cut of every booking, defaulted to one currency, and were clearly built for someone else's market. The cheaper alternatives were held together with hope and Excel macros. Nobody was building software for independent operators like us.

So we built it ourselves. Word spread — operators in Aruba, Cartagena, Bonaire, Florida, and beyond started asking to use it. By 2024 we were spending more time on the software than on the cars, so we made it official.

RentoNova is a WordPress plugin because every operator we know already has a WordPress site. It's per-vehicle priced because operators understand what a car costs to run. It's multi-currency and multi-language because our customers serve travelers from every corner of the world.

We still rent cars. The plugin is just what we wish we'd had ten years ago.
